People & Culture Manager (m/f/d)

München - HQ
Full-time
Permanent employee
55,000 - 65,000 € per year

Your mission

You will own recruiting for our highest-priority roles (primarily Software and AI Engineers as well as Sales profiles) while also shaping how we onboard, brand, and develop our people.

You will be a trusted sparring partner to hiring managers across the company, and support the broader People & Culture team on strategic and operational topics. You will report directly to our CFO and work within a 3-person People & Culture team with real ownership and genuine room to shape how we grow.

What you will do

  • Recruiting (approx. 60-70%)

    • Run end-to-end recruitment for 3-5 simultaneous roles, primarily software and AI engineers, sales, and technical leadership positions.

    • Build proactive sourcing pipelines using LinkedIn Recruiter, moving beyond inbound-only recruiting.

    • Design and refine structured interview processes and case studies together with hiring managers.

    • Act as a sparring partner for hiring managers: advise on current market standards and help minimise unconscious bias across all hiring decisions.

    • Lead offer negotiations and coordinate smooth transitions into onboarding.

    • Own Personio for the recruiting process: maintain data hygiene, continuously improve workflows, and integrate AI tooling where it adds value.

  • Employer Branding (approx. 15%)

    • Develop and execute our employer branding strategy across LinkedIn, our career page, and events

    • Create authentic content that shows what it's like to work here, in close collaboration with R&D, product management and leadership.

  • People Operations (approx. 15%)

    • Design and continuously improve our employee experience, from offer signing through the first weeks.

    • Support our broader People & Culture team with people administration topics (contracts, changes, offboarding), working closely with our Senior P&C Managers.

    • Contribute to strategic P&C initiatives such as performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement, as your interests and our needs evolve.

Your profile

  • Hands-on experience in talent acquisition, ideally including technical recruiting for software engineering, AI, or sales / GTM positions.

  • Proven active sourcing ability: you build pipelines via LinkedIn Recruiter, not just manage inbound.

  • Solid understanding of science-based recruiting standards, including structured interviews, scorecards, work-sample tests, and bias mitigation techniques.

  • Genuine interest in the broader People & Culture toolkit: employer branding, onboarding, and the operational infrastructure that makes a growing company work.

  • Fluent in English (C1 level, written and spoken). Strong German skills (C1 preferred, solid B2 acceptable with commitment to develop toward C1).

  • Comfortable using AI tools and an ATS such as Personio in your daily workflow.

  • Curious and reflective about your craft. You care about the "why" behind the "what".

Why us?

  • A vibrant in-office culture in a beautiful office in Munich (mandatory presence at least two days per week).
  • Flexible working hours.
  • 30 vacation days per year (including 6 “company rest days” over christmas).
  • 30 days of "workation" per year, within the EU and selected countries.
  • High autonomy and flat hierarchies.
