Head of Product (m/f/d)

About the Job
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Head of Product (f/m/d) to take ownership of the entire Certivity product ecosystem – from data crawling and ingestion to our client-facing SaaS with AI-powered features.

Our product helps engineers and compliance professionals navigate complex regulatory landscapes and enables them to ship their products to global markets faster and with high confidence. Using state-of-the-art AI, the Certivity regulatory management platform promotes the understanding of complex regulatory requirements from diverse sources, and presents actionable insights and workflows to engineers and regulatory experts. Join our fast-growing team of 80 people, reporting directly to the founder and CPO.
What you will do
  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap, aligned with the business goals and customer needs.
  • Translate product regulatory and legal complexity into well structured, scalable product concepts.
  • Partner closely with our C-Level, AI and software engineers, regulatory experts and product owners to ship features that combine innovation and usability.
  • Lead discovery and validation with enterprise customers.
  • Shape the pricing, packaging, and positioning of new software features.
  • Drive strong collaboration with our business and customer success team to ensure customer-centric delivery.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing product team.
  • Maintain delivery excellence: write and review PRDs, define success metrics, manage releases, and ensure measurable outcomes.
Your profile
  • Minimum seven years of experience in product management or as Product Owner. 
  • Minimum three years of experience in people managing a product team 
  • University degree in a STEM field.
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS startup environment is a bonus. 
  • Proven track record of proactively driving a product from early traction to repeatable growth.
  • Experience shipping AI-assisted products or data-intensive platforms.
  • Strong understanding of software and AI productization, including model limitations, explainability, and human-in-the-loop design.
  • Experience working with customers directly to align product decisions with go-to-market and sales strategies.
  • Hands-on leadership - equally strategic and willing to get into details.
  • Exposure to regulated industries (automotive, finance, defense or medical) or RegTech / LegalTech platforms is a big plus.
  • Fluent in German (C1) and English (C1).
